**tips to overcome ED
1. Avoid consumption of alcohol. If you are addicted to alcohol restrict the intake. Alcohol acts on central nervous system and causes erectile dysfunction.
2. Keep away from smoking. Men who smoke suffer from erectile dysfunction than men who do not. It is evident from researches. Smoking causes formation of plaques in arteries (atherosclerosis) which obstruct the blood flow.
3.Avoid working for long hours. Take a break from regular routine at week ends and spend time with your partner.
4.Practice Yoga and meditation regularly to keep away anxiety, depression and stress. Meditation and Yoga are best stress busters.
5.Do not have the fear of not getting hard erections or do not doubt your ability to satisfy your partner. It will lead to psychological ED.
6.Happy and comfortable atmosphere at home is very essential to stimulate sexual desire and keep sexually healthy.
7.Exercise regularly and daily. Brisk walk for 45 minutes is the best exercise which keeps the cardiovascular system healthy. Researches have shown that the incidences of erectile dysfunction are less in men who regularly exercise.
8.Weight reduction helps to increase testosterone level and increases sexual energy and stamina. Weight reduction helps to keep hypertension and diabetes in control. Diabetes causes erectile dysfunction and anti hypertensive medications may cause erectile dysfunction.
9.Marijuana, heroin, cocaine etc cause erectile dysfunction. Withdrawing from addiction to the above mentioned substances really helps in increasing erections and sexual stamina.
10.Reduce the frequency of masturbation. Masturbating twice in a week is ideal. .
11.Massage whole body with herbal oil at least once in a week. This increases sexual energy and stamina. Body massage (abhyanga) is mentioned as the best aphrodisiac in Ayurveda.
12.Sleep at least for 8 hours a day. Body gets energized with good sleep.
13.Do not control natural urges. Empty your bladder before going to bed with your partner.
14.Take all steps to prevent indigestion and constipation. Indigestion and constipation vitiate doshas and cause diseases.Hard erections will not occur when body is not healthy.

ASHOKA RASAYANA

in the ramayana, one of the books of hindu mythology, there is mention of ashoka tree. ashoka means "without sorrow", a reference to this bark's reputation for keeping women healthy and youthful. buddha was said to be born under this tree.

ashoka is a small, spreading, evergreen tree, with smooth brownish bark and compound leaves forming a dense crown. it has bright orange flowers in small dense branches and flat fruits with several smooth gray seeds. this tree has to be distinguished from the indian fir or mast tree, botanically known as polyalthia longifolia. ashoka is one of the sacred trees of the hindus. the dried bark of the tree constitutes the drug. the bark contains tannins and catechol. the powder of the bark contains silica, sodium, potassiom, phosphate, magnesium, iron, calcium, strontium and aluminium. a crystalline glycosidal substance has been isolated from the bark with galactose as the constituent sugar.

both the dried flowers of ashoka and the bark have been used in ayurveda for many centuries. the bark is prescribed in ayurvedic medicine for arresting bleeding or secretion and as a uterine sedative. it is said to have a stimulating effect on the endometrium that is, the mucuous membrance lining the uterus and on the ovarian tissues. it acts directly on the muscular fibers of the uterus.

diet criteria

##type o:
people with this blood type are natural meat eaters.they should stick to a diet rich in proteins and low in carbohydrates.their bodies cannot properly metabolise a high carb diet,so if they don't stick to a meat diet,they will end up putting on a lot of weight.this blood type should cut down on wheat,milk and other dairy products as they can lead to lower immunity.vegetarians need not to fret as they can take all types of fruits and vegetables.

**type a:
meat is not good for this blood type,they are ore prone to diabetes,heart diseaes,and cancer,all of which are worsen with a diet consisting mainly of meat,a vegetarian diet will keep you healthy.vegetables,foods made of soya and pineapple help you loose weight.

##type b:
this is the most common blood type in indiaand one with least dietary restrictions,so if you have this type you are free to have anything,in moderation."the only problem with this type is that their immune system is quite weak compared to other groups.the only foods that you need to avoid are processed foods and this is the only blood type which can easily digest milk and dairy products.green vegetables,eggs,and tea arethe foods that will make you loose weight.corn, peanuts and wheat should be avoided when you are trying to loose weight,and only small amounts of food rich in carbs should be eaten.

this is a rare blood group and people who fall in this category should have a combination of foods that are recommended for blood types a and b."diets for blood group a and b are quiet different from one another and that's why this blood type's is tricky.over tim,you will find out which foods are easily metabolized and which are not.it's only with time and some experiments that people in this group find out what food suits them

managing bed ridden patients at home

a:bed should be soft and uniform.bedsheets should be tightly tucked in without wrinkles.
b:instruct the relatives to change position every 1 to 2 hrs.
c:feeding should be done preferably in sitting position and by self help;ryle's tube feeds in semi conscious patients.
d:give protein supplemants,avoid food that may cause diarrhoea.
e:give enema on alternate days to evacuate the bowels,use simple enema
f:instruct the relatives to sponge the patient everyday with a wet towel followed by dry towel,followed by eau de colone or talcum powder,teach them to move all the limb joints through full range,severa times a day.
g:check every 2 to 3 days over sacrum,back,greater trochanter and ankles,if bedsores is devdressing and padding.
h:avoid soakage of bed by urine or stools,as bedsores develop very quickly in such cases.
i:if urineary incontinence,apply a condom catheter.if urinary retention,insert a foley's cathreter and give daily bladder wash with boiled water and piodine.
j:encourage deep breathing to prevent pneumonia
